Beating The Retreat at Wagah Border

Thousands of curious onlookers gathered at Wagah border in Punjab to witness the elaborate retreat ceremony performed by Indian and Pakistani security personnel at dusk.

As part of a ritual, armed soldiers from India’’s Border Security Force (BSF) and the Pakistan Rangers march theatrically at 5:00 pm every day to the gates at the Wagah border and lower their flags.
The ceremony attracts thousands of people on both sides of the border who come from far wand wide to witness this spectacle.
